Autumn in Melbourne.

Autumn in Melbourne Autumn in Melbourne Autumn in Melbourne Fall in Melbourne

According to the naked trees on my street, the gloomy side of Autumn has completely taken over. The sky is now mostly grey and dreary in Melbourne. It’s dark by 5:30pm and the sun doesn’t rise until after 7am. On sleep-in days I’m woken by the sound of leaf blowers, but I’m not upset. Someone’s got to move those pretty, just fallen leaves from the path of commuters.

Everything about Autumn and this upcoming winter excites me. The cold, the beanies, hiking boots, wool socks, the hot chocolates, well behaved hair, the floor heater being turned on; it’s all good.

So, it’s with a heavy heart that I bid this past colorful Autumn in Melbourne farewell. Bring on winter, bring on soups. Just bring them as starters with delicious entrees to follow.

Yes! I love the hint of yellow everywhere, even though it’s all long gone now. I haven’t been to Queensland yet, but I can’t wait. We’re planning trip there in December; if you have any tips and tricks let me know! 🙂
