The madness of the silly season is finally winding down and the reality that 2015 has come to end has hit me hard. It has slapped me across the face and not even apologized. I know you’re going to say “Well… time flies when you’re having fun”. But I think time flies all the time. And I believe it currently flies a Concorde.
Can someone please figure out a way to slow time down?
Here’s some highlights from my 2015:
January: I spent half of January showing family and friends that had come over from the US for our wedding around Melbourne and Victoria. The other half was spent packing up our lives in Fitzroy so we could honeymoon!
May: I watched my sister graduate from Boston University, finally took Jack to Disney World and we set off on our Caravan trip through National Parks (Grand Canyon, Zion, Yosemite, Death Valley) on the West Coast of the US with my sister and Jack’s Brother.
July: Made it back to Australia just in time to be present for my surprise 27th birthday party. (Thank you Husband!)
September: I finally had my Defacto Visa approved (!!!)(which I applied for in 2012)(Don’t even get me started) so we went on a road trip up the coast from Melbourne to Sydney in our new VW Golf to celebrate!
October: Ran in in the Melbourne Half Marathon!
November: Jack turned 28! My family came over from the US and we took an incredible trip to New Zealand!
December: Another warm Christmas in Australia!
Lets do this, 2016!
